What Sponsors Need to Know
DOES YOUR COURSE PROMOTIONAL OR MARKETING MATERIALS REFLECT THE MOST CURRENT NATIONAL REGISTRY STATEMENT, AS REQUIRED?
Approved members of the National Registry are required to display the National Registry Statement on supporting promotional and marketing materials. The National Registry Statement and logo show the public that the organization is an approved sponsor and dedicated to quality CPE programs.
The revised National Registry Statement is as follows:
“[Organization’s name] is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State Boards of Accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual course for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.”
NASBA requires that the official National Registry Statement be revised on any electronic format/media as soon as possible and revised on any written materials, catalogs, etc. in connection with the next printing schedule of such materials, or at the latest August 31, 2017.
