Alfonzo Alexander

Alfonzo Alexander HeadshotChief Ethics & Diversity Officer, NASBA

Alfonzo Alexander serves as NASBA’s chief ethics and diversity officer and president of NASBA’s Center for the Public Trust (CPT). In his role as president of CPT, Mr. Alexander oversees the day-to-day operations and the growing number of CPT programs, including the Student Center for the Public Trust, the Ethics Certification program and the Being a Difference Award program, all of which position the organization to accomplish its mission to champion public trust. Prior to joining NASBA in 2006 as a staff director and vice president of the CPT, Mr. Alexander served as regional manager and managing director for the Southeast region of INROADS, Inc., where he led operations and business development in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Before joining INROADS, Mr. Alexander held several leadership positions in operations management and human resources at the Quaker Oats Company. He holds a B.S. degree in business administration with an emphasis on human resources management from Tennessee Technological University, and an M.B.A. degree from Lipscomb University.

Dan Dustin

Dan Dustin HeadshotVice President, State Board Relations

Daniel Dustin, CPA, joined NASBA on January 1, 2012, as vice president, state board relations. In this role, Dustin serves as an advocate for State Boards of Accountancy and finds new ways and opportunities to provide support and service to NASBA’s member boards. Prior to joining NASBA, Dustin served as executive secretary of the New York State Board for Public Accountancy, an appointment that was made in 1998 by the New York State Board of Regents. As executive secretary, Dustin was responsible for professional licensing, practice and conduct, including professional discipline of Certified Public Accountants and Public Accountants in New York. A key point person in the regulatory process, Dustin monitored the evolution of professional practice at national and state levels, and developed and drafted proposed legislation and amendments to New York State accountancy rules and regulations. The 2010 recipient of NASBA’s prestigious Lorraine P. Sachs Standard of Excellence Award for distinction in accountancy regulation and public protection, Dustin is former chair of NASBA’s CPA Examination and Administration Committee, Accountancy Licensee Database Task Force and Executive Directors Committee. He also served as a member of the AICPA’s Peer Review Task Force and Board of Examiners, including having chaired the BOE’s Operations Committee. Dustin earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Clarkson University, and became a licensed CPA in 1988.

Matt Havens

Cindy Huggett

Cindy Huggett, CPTD, has vast experience in digital working environments: She’s the author of several books on virtual training, including Virtual Training Tools and Templates and The Virtual Training Guidebook. She helps leaders present themselves well online, coaches training professionals to increase their effectiveness, and designs training solutions to meet business needs. She facilitates, designs, writes, and speaks on topics related to leadership, learning, and technology.

Cindy earned her master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs and is a past member of ATD’s global Board of Directors. Her newest book, The Facilitator’s Guide to Immersive, Blended and Hybrid Learning will be released by ATD Press in late 2022.

Michael Kravshik

Prior to founding LumiQ, Michael began his entrepreneurial career as the CFO/COO of wearable technology startup GestureLogic. Michael graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business and began his career in audit at Ernst and Young, earning his CPA designation, before moving into risk management consulting at Protiviti. Michael also completed an MA in International Affairs specializing in counter-terrorism, while working at Scotiabank in that capacity.

Elizabeth Wolfe

Elizabeth Wolfe HeadshotSenior Regulatory Counsel, NASBA

Elizabeth Wolfe, Esq., is counsel of regulatory affairs at NASBA. Her practice areas focus on regulatory law and legislative policy as it pertains to the accounting profession. Ms. Wolfe enjoys assisting NASBA’s many different internal departments with legal advice as well as externally supporting the efforts of NASBA’s member boards. She currently serves as the staff liaison for the Enforcement Resources Committee. In addition to her regulatory law practice, Ms. Wolfe oversees the efforts of the ADA Team as it pertains to Testing Accommodations for the CPA Exam. Prior to joining NASBA, Ms. Wolfe was assistant general counsel at the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance in the Regulatory Boards Division. There, she provided legal advice regarding state licensure, Federal Anti-Trust law, the Tennessee Open Records Act, and the Tennessee Open Meetings Act. Ms. Wolfe graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee where she double majored in art history and political science. She attended law school at Belmont University College of Law where she served as vice president of the Student Bar Association. She is an active member of the Nashville Bar Association, Nashville Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division, and the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division. Ms. Wolfe volunteers her time with the Belmont Law Inn of Court where she mentors first year law students and with the Nashville chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Ms. Wolfe was named one of Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 in 2018 for her professional achievements and community involvement.
