The Neuroscience of Change Agility and Designing Effective Training in the midst of Change and Uncertainty

Dr. Jay Van Bavel, NeuroLeadership Institute

Scientists have spent over forty years studying motivation and performance and identifying which strategies are most effective when it comes to thriving in the face of change and uncertainty. Increased organizational changes are increasing pressure on learning. As well as having more to learn than ever, there is less time to learn it in. Then, there is the challenge of the nature of work itself, where distractions and multi-tasking inhibit the ability to focus sufficiently to learn something new.

In this session, Dr. Jay Van Bavel will provide an overview of change agility with a growth mindset to prepare professionals for the changes they face in their field and provide science-based tolls to help design more effective learning experiences.
