The NASBA social media team has been aware of an account impersonating NASBA on LinkedIn for several months. Staff has reported the page multiple times and has tried to notify LinkedIn to take the account down, but it currently remains live.
The social media team wants to ensure that all members of the NASBA community follow the correct LinkedIn page:
The CORRECT NASBA page is titled ‘NASBA’, has a verification checkmark and 69k followers:
The FRADULENT page is titled ‘National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA)’, does not have a verification checkmark and has 7k followers:
Please do not follow or interact with the fraudulent page. To report the page, click the the three dots next to the ‘message’ button and then click ‘report abuse’. Select ‘fake account’ from the following menu and then hit ‘submit report’.
