CPE Monitor Newsletters

From September 17 - December 16, 2025, stakeholders were invited to provide comments on the exposure draft for revisions to the Statement on Standards for Continuing Public Education (CPE) Programs (Standards). The public comment period has now closed, and the CPE Standards Working Group is reviewing all feedback received and evaluating potential revisions to the draft Standards.  

The Working Group will meet in the coming weeks to discuss comments and develop recommended updates. Those recommendations will be submitted to the NASBA CPE Committee, and subsequently the NASBA/AICPA Joint CPE Committee for consideration. Following committee review, the goal is to present proposed revisions to the AICPA and NASBA Boards for approval. Stakeholders are encouraged to continue monitoring future issues of the CPE Monitor for updates as the review process progresses.
