BranchTrack Simplifies the Creation of Simulation Training

01-Jan-2018

One of the online resources highlighted at the 2017 National Registry Summit was BranchTrack, scenario-based e-learning that can assist sponsors in implementing the CPE Standards. According to BranchTrack, you can create digital simulations in a user-friendly browser-based editor. Simply drag and drop elements to make sense of complex interactions, and then export your branches to share with colleagues, managers and others.

Sergey Snegirev, representing BranchTrack at the Summit, illustrated the importance of branchtrack logothe program by comparing it to learning how to fly an aircraft. He stated that when someone learns how to fly, they first learn the theory behind it, practice simulation in a safe environment, and only after that are they permitted to practice in the air. Most corporate training today, on the other hand, focuses solely on theory and then pushes employees right into practice. This training is usually very expensive and is lacking the practice time. BranchTrack attempts to bring back the training element, which is commonly omitted.

The program’s branching scenarios put the user’s knowledge into perspective by allowing them to make different choices that lead to various scenarios and questions. Snegirev highlighted that BranchTrack is a simple, digital roleplay tool that allows other users to react to your choices. The program lets you control your character, the backgrounds and flowcharts. Snegirev also revealed that BranchTrack helped improve accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers’ hands-on training time by focusing its program on simulations.

Have you considered challenging your learners with simulation-based training?
