Course Topics

This course will incorporate instruction, demos, and practice exercises designed to optimize your Workiva experience, covering: 

• Understanding platform components 
• Creating tables to hold data   
• Loading data into database 
• Creating queries using builder functionality  
• Connecting data to spreadsheets 
• Building spreadsheets and writing formulas based on connected queries 
• Creating content and linking it to query-connected spreadsheets

This course is built for the public sector, but applicable for corporate users as well. Users from any industry will come away with a more advanced understanding and practical mastery of this valuable software.

Prerequisites:

• Be a currently licensed user of Workiva (Wdesk & Wdata) 
• Have a workspace suitable for training 
• Have the “Workspace Owner” role in the workspace to be used 
• Complete Workiva Learning Hub course "Using Workiva"
