This course will provide an overview of revenue administration including the importance of revenue policies, primary local government revenue streams, and how to improve revenue collections. The course focuses on revenue administration for local governments in Georgia.

Upon successful completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

• describe the Georgia property tax cycle

• recognize the various types of revenue sources available to Georgia local governments

• recall how to enhance revenue collections
