This course is designed to provide entry-level accounting technicians/accountants with the basic knowledge needed to perform accounting operations in the Defense Finance & Accounting Service (DFAS) environment.  Participants will become familiar with the Navy/Marine Corp and related Department of Defense (DoD) lines of accounting (LOA), financial procedures, and accounting reports and systems common to the Navy and Marine Corp.
