This course introduces the business of investment banking by exploring the structure and functions of a typical investment bank. It discusses the roles and responsibilities of individual banking departments, with an emphasis on how departments work together to meet the needs of their clients and to generate revenues for the bank. This course also describes the way in which investment banks manage price risk and comply with banking regulations.
