Baby Got Backups: Backing Up QBO Course Description
QuickBooks Online is hosted, and hypothetically never needs to be backed up. But there are plenty of reasons to back up your file:
- a period archive
- a snapshot in time
- a failed import
- restoring accidentally deleted transactions.
You can export lists to Excel, and there’s also a “back door” to exporting your QBO file to Desktop. QBO Advanced has a backup tool built right in. We’ll also look at several different backup strategies for QBO Simple Start through Plus, to choose which one is right for your needs.
